2Steel Girls Mad Black Magic

Black magic and voodoo pushed mother-daughter duo Allison and Krystal Steel in a corner they did not want to be in, so they decided to push back. The result of that fight not only resulted in a call to the fire department but put the music back in their corner, the way they wanted to do it, punches and all!

Allison and Krystal make up country/rock duo 2Steel Girls who went from playing the Bluebird Café in Nashville, to playing in front of millions on NBC’s The Voice in no time. Since their appearance on The Voice, they have made multiple TV appearances, managed themselves and in March became the faces of the Realtree girl brand.

Mad Black Magic is off of their sophomore album of the same name. Both the video and the single itself are about that musical journey and breaking away from the typical mold and just being true to who you are. These ladies have not only managed to be true to themselves, but turn out a successful piece of work by doing just that. In an industry that tends to be very “cookie cutter” these days (in that many artists’ tend to sound alike), 2Steel Girls are very refreshing in that aspect which should take them very far.

2Steel Girls have managed to turn out a musical treat that is both real and different. Their vocal ranges are amazing and they harmonize well together. Their writing is both superb and fierce and has me wanting to hear what lies next. Well-crafted music has returned, so go buy the album or fear their Mad Black Magic.
